1. Information collected
AltCloud collects the information needed to create and operate your account, process payments, deliver infrastructure services, and provide support. This may include email address, access code, billing details, order history, transactions, support tickets, service configurations, access IP addresses, browser technical identifiers, security logs, resource usage, operational events, assigned IP information, renewal settings, saved payment-method references, and communications you send us. When a feature or usage tier requires verification, we may also request compliance or KYC information reasonably needed to prevent fraud, abuse, or legal violations.
2. Use of information
We use collected information to authenticate users, verify accounts, provision VPS and related services, process deposits and payments, issue receipts or invoices when applicable, operate the control panel, respond to support requests, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, maintain platform security, measure availability and performance, comply with legal obligations, improve internal processes, and communicate important notices about your account or services.
3. Parties information is disclosed to
AltCloud does not sell personal information. We may disclose limited data to providers that help operate the service, such as payment processors, email services, infrastructure, security, operational analytics, support, or compliance verification providers. We may also share information with authorities, legal advisors, financial institutions, payment networks, or affected third parties when needed to comply with law, respond to valid process, prevent fraud, investigate abuse, collect balances, protect AltCloud rights, security, or availability, or enforce our Terms of Service and usage rules.
4. Disclosure method
Disclosures are made only through reasonably secure methods that are proportional to the case. They may occur through API integrations with providers, restricted administrative panels, internal reports, support tickets, administrative emails, exported logs for investigation, formal responses to legal requests, or direct payment and billing flows initiated by the user. We limit shared information to what is needed for the relevant purpose and, when possible, use identifiers, summaries, or technical data instead of complete information.
5. Security practices
We apply technical and administrative security practices to safeguard information, including encrypted connections, protected session cookies, role-based access controls, separation of public and private routes, activity logs, review of sensitive operations, abuse prevention measures, application and network protections, and limited access for personnel or systems that need the information to operate the service. No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security, so we recommend using strong passwords, protecting your email account, enabling available security measures, and reporting suspicious access immediately.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain information while it is needed to provide services, maintain transactional records, comply with tax or legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and protect the platform. Some operational logs may be retained for limited periods for security and audit purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or isolate it as appropriate. Account or service deletion does not automatically remove records that must be kept for compliance, security, fraud prevention, billing, or legal defense. AltCloud does not provide managed backups of customer VPS content; users are responsible for backing up their own files, databases, applications, keys, and configurations before deletion, suspension, migration, software changes, or any emergency.
7. Your choices and contact
You may request access, correction, or review of information associated with your account by writing to [email protected]. Some requests may require identity verification or proof of control over the registered email address. If a request conflicts with legal obligations, anti-fraud records, platform security, or third-party rights, we may limit it, deny it, or retain the information that is strictly necessary.
