1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AltCloud.cc Infrastructure, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Our platform is designed for high-performance computing and privacy-focused hosting. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Account & Email Verification
Registration requires a valid email address. Upon registration, you will receive a verification email — your account must be verified before making purchases. Your account is linked to your unique access code and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Losing access to your email or credentials may result in permanent account loss. For security, email and password changes requested from your account settings require confirmation from your current verified email address before taking effect. Business accounts and certain features may require additional identity verification (KYC) as described in Section 15.
3. Service Activation
Services are provisioned automatically upon successful payment. In most cases, your VPS will be ready within minutes of deployment. During periods of high demand or temporary resource constraints, activation may take longer and you will be notified via the service status in your dashboard. We reserve the right to refuse activation of any order — in such cases a full refund to your account balance will be issued automatically.
4. Deposits & Payment Processing
We accept cryptocurrency deposits and card payments through Stripe when that method is enabled. When you initiate a deposit, it appears as 'Pending' in your transaction history. Cryptocurrency deposits are credited after blockchain confirmation. Card payments are credited after Stripe confirms successful payment. If no payment is received within 48 hours for a crypto deposit, the pending deposit is automatically cancelled. Prices shown are final for online checkout; applicable taxes are included where required. CFDI invoices for Mexico are available upon request. You can view the status and details of all pending and completed deposits in your Transactions page at any time.
5. Refund Policy
All payments are final and non-refundable once a service has been activated. Each provisioned VPS immediately consumes non-refundable resources including compute capacity, IP allocations, bandwidth, and energy. Unused account balance cannot be withdrawn or refunded to external wallets. In the event of a billing error or duplicate charge, contact [email protected] for review within 48 hours of the transaction.
6. Billing & Fair Usage
We offer monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual billing cycles with discounts for longer commitments (5%, 10%, and 20% respectively). Services are automatically suspended when their billing period expires and the account balance is zero or negative. Suspended services can be reactivated by topping up your balance or by an admin. After 7 calendar days of suspension without payment, the service and all associated data will be permanently deleted with no recovery option. Dedicated IPv4 addresses cost $2.00 per month when available. If selected during initial checkout, the IPv4 add-on is charged for the full billing cycle selected for the VPS. If purchased later from an existing VPS, the IPv4 add-on is prorated until the current VPS expiration date. On renewal, the dedicated IPv4 renews with the VPS for the same billing cycle. Dedicated IPv4 addresses are leased allocations provided by AltCloud for use with your active service; purchasing a plan or add-on does not transfer ownership of any IP address. IP allocations may be changed, reclaimed, removed, or reassigned when required for abuse handling, network operations, provider changes, legal compliance, or service termination. You can upgrade your plan at any time; the price difference will be charged to your balance or paid through an available checkout provider. Downgrades to a lower plan are not supported.
7. Support Scope
AltCloud.cc provides support for the administration and operation of the delivered infrastructure: hardware, network connectivity, virtualization layer, and the control panel. We do not provide support for third-party software, scripts, applications, or configurations installed by the customer on their VPS. This includes but is not limited to: web server configuration, database optimization, custom application debugging, and software installation. Our responsibility ends at providing a functional virtual machine with network access and the specifications of your chosen plan.
8. Infrastructure Usage Rules
To protect our network reputation and prevent illegal activity, the following outbound ports are permanently blocked on all instances: Ports 25, 465, 587 (SMTP/email — anti-spam), Ports 17, 19, 1900, 11211 (QOTD, CHARGEN, SSDP, Memcached — anti-DDoS amplification), and Ports 137-139, 445 (NetBIOS, SMB — anti-malware/ransomware).
9. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on all AltCloud.cc services: DDoS attacks, port scanning, IP spoofing, and any form of network abuse; hosting or distributing malware, botnets, or command-and-control infrastructure; sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or operating mail bombers; cryptocurrency mining (CPU, GPU, or storage-based); running proxy servers, Tor exit nodes, or open relays; hosting content that infringes third-party copyright or intellectual property rights; hosting illegal content of any kind; nested virtualization (running hypervisors inside VMs); any activity that causes sustained excessive resource consumption degrading service for other customers. Violation of these rules will result in immediate service suspension or termination without refund.
10. DDoS Mitigation
The AltCloud.cc website and control panel are protected behind Cloudflare and origin-level safeguards. Customer VPS instances are self-managed and are not individually protected by Cloudflare. While we make reasonable efforts to protect the platform and preserve network stability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service during large-scale or novel attack vectors. Customers are responsible for implementing their own application-layer protections. In the event of sustained abusive traffic that degrades network performance for other customers, we reserve the right to rate-limit, null-route the affected endpoint, or suspend the affected service to preserve overall stability.
11. Bandwidth & Resource Usage
All VPS instances include 1 Gbps unmetered bandwidth. There are no hard bandwidth caps or overage charges. However, continuous 100% CPU utilization for extended periods may result in a warning or resource review to ensure fair distribution across all customers. Excessive or abusive traffic patterns that degrade network performance for other customers may result in temporary rate limiting or suspension.
12. Data Loss & Service Continuity
AltCloud.cc is a self-managed infrastructure provider. We do not perform automated backups of your VPS data, files, databases, applications, configurations, logs, keys, or uploaded content. When a service's billing period expires with no positive balance, it is suspended immediately. You have 7 calendar days to reactivate by topping up your balance — after this period, all data on the suspended instance will be permanently and irrecoverably deleted. It is your sole responsibility to maintain a positive balance and keep current independent backups for any emergency, including accidental deletion, filesystem corruption, software failure, compromise, billing suspension, provider outage, hardware failure, or service termination. AltCloud.cc is not responsible for lost, deleted, corrupted, damaged, inaccessible, or unrecoverable files or data.
13. Limitation of Liability
Services are provided 'as-is' and 'as available'. AltCloud.cc is not liable for any data loss, file loss, file corruption, damaged files, service interruptions, financial damages, business interruption, lost profits, or consequential losses resulting from the use or inability to use our infrastructure. This includes but is not limited to: hardware failures, network outages, DDoS attacks, software bugs, security breaches, account compromise, customer configuration errors, accidental deletion, suspension, termination, or failure to maintain backups. We guarantee 99.9% network uptime for our core infrastructure but do not guarantee individual instance uptime, software stability, data availability, or recoverability. You agree to use all services at your own risk.
14. Termination of Service
AltCloud.cc reserves the right to suspend or terminate any service, instance, or account at any time for violations of these terms, illegal activities, or actions that threaten the security or stability of our infrastructure. Accounts with no deposits within 24 hours of registration may be automatically purged. Upon termination, all associated data will be permanently deleted. Customers may terminate their services at any time through the control panel, subject to the billing terms outlined in Section 6.
15. KYC & Identity Verification
Certain account features and higher usage tiers may require Know Your Customer (KYC) verification. KYC submissions follow a review process with four possible statuses: pending (awaiting review), submitted (under review), approved, info_requested (additional information needed), or rejected. Users with info_requested or rejected status have 14 days to resolve outstanding issues. After three compliance warnings, a final 36-hour notice is issued. Failure to comply within this period will result in account and service suspension. Reseller API access requires approved KYC, verified email, complete billing information, and a registration or login IP that is compatible with the submitted country unless an admin records an explicit compliance override. A photo ID is not required by default, but additional information may be requested for fraud, abuse, or legal review. All KYC data is handled in accordance with our privacy standards and used solely for compliance and fraud prevention purposes.
16. Reseller Responsibility
Resellers are responsible for activity generated by their customers on AltCloud infrastructure. Abuse by a reseller's customer, including spam, malware, phishing, attacks, illegal content, or repeated ToS violations, may result in suspension of the affected service, reseller API key, reseller status, or the reseller account itself. Resellers must maintain accurate KYC and contact information, respond to abuse reports promptly, and ensure their customers follow these Terms of Service.
