Platform Integrity & Operational Rules

AltCloud.cc is built for performance and privacy. To maintain our high standards and prevent infrastructure abuse, we operate under the following rules.

Billing & Retention

Ensuring fair resource allocation and preventing "burn-and-discard" patterns.

    Prepaid Balance Required

    You must have a positive balance before deploying any service. Balance is checked atomically at checkout to prevent overspending.

    Flexible Billing Cycles

    Choose monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual billing. Longer cycles include automatic discounts (5%, 10%, 20% respectively).

    Plan Upgrades

    Upgrade to a higher plan at any time. The price difference is charged to your balance or paid through an available checkout provider. Downgrades are not supported.

    Suspension & Auto-Delete

    Services suspend immediately when their billing period expires with no positive balance. After 7 calendar days of suspension, all data is permanently deleted with no recovery option. Reactivate anytime by topping up your balance.

    Customer Backups Required

    You are responsible for maintaining independent backups of your VPS files, databases, applications, keys, and configurations. AltCloud is not responsible for lost, deleted, corrupted, damaged, inaccessible, or unrecoverable data.

Deposits & Payments

How deposits are processed and what payment methods are available.

    Crypto Payments

    Deposit with BTC, LTC, ETH, USDC and more. Pending deposits show wallet address and exact amount. Credited after blockchain confirmation. Auto-cancelled after 48 hours if unpaid.

    Card Payments

    Pay with Stripe when card checkout is enabled. Funds are credited after the provider confirms successful payment.

    Admin Manual Credits

    Admins can manually credit user accounts for refunds, bonuses, or corrections. All manual credits are logged in the transaction history for audit purposes.

  • 4

    No Refunds

    All completed deposits are final and non-refundable. Unused balance cannot be withdrawn. Contact support for billing errors within 48 hours.

    Ports used by worms and ransomware (WannaCry, EternalBlue) are permanently blocked.

    Website Protection Scope

    The AltCloud website and control panel are Cloudflare-protected. Customer VPS instances are self-managed and are not individually protected by Cloudflare.

    Dedicated IPv4 Abuse Policy

    A dedicated IPv4 does not remove anti-abuse rules, blocked ports, monitoring, or compliance limits. Some services use NAT 1:1, so the VM may keep a private internal address while the public dedicated IPv4 routes to it. Abuse from a dedicated IPv4 can result in suspension of the IP, service, or account.

    No Nested Virtualization

    Running hypervisors (Proxmox, VMware, KVM) inside our instances is strictly prohibited to ensure node stability.

Auto-Suspension

Services are automatically suspended when the billing period expires and the account has no positive balance.

Auto-Delete (7 Days)

Suspended instances are permanently deleted after 7 calendar days. A countdown is shown in your dashboard showing remaining days.

Backups Are Customer-Managed

Keep your own backups before upgrades, software changes, migrations, billing deadlines, or any other emergency. AltCloud does not guarantee recovery of VPS data or files.

KYC Compliance

Identity verification requirements and compliance enforcement.

    KYC Status Flow

    Submissions follow a review process: pending → submitted → approved / info_requested / rejected. Business accounts and reseller API access require approved KYC status.

    Compliance Warnings

    Info_requested or rejected submissions trigger compliance warnings. Three warnings are sent before escalation. Users have 14 days to resolve outstanding issues after each warning.

    Final Notice & Deactivation

    After three warnings, a final 36-hour notice is issued. Failure to comply within this period results in automatic account deactivation and service suspension.

Account Security

How sensitive account changes are protected against unauthorized access.

    Confirmed Email Changes

    Email change requests must be confirmed from your current verified email address via a 30-minute confirmation link before the change takes effect. Your session is cleared after the change so you sign in with the new email.

    Confirmed Password Changes

    Password change requests require confirmation from your current verified email address before the new password is applied. This prevents unauthorized password changes even if your dashboard session is compromised.

  • C

    Two-Factor Authentication

    Optional TOTP-based 2FA is available from your account settings. Enabling 2FA adds an additional verification step at login and is strongly recommended for reseller and business accounts.
